The Warsaw Uprising was a major armed insurrection by the Polish Home Army (AK) against German occupation forces in Warsaw, Poland, during World War II. It began on 1 August, 1944, and lasted until 2 October, 1944, resulting in the city's destruction and a devastating loss of life. The AK aimed to liberate Warsaw before the advancing Soviet Red Army, but the uprising was met with brutal resistance and ultimately failed due to a lack of external support and the Soviets' strategic halt.

Reviews
This is a superb figure representing the Armia Krajowa or Polish Home Army from the period of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. The printing is fantastic and the detail perfect, from the Polish flag armband to the stolen Germany Army gear and Polish eagle. A real gem of a figure and definitely recommended if you want a minifig of this important part of Polish history.
