Pike and shot was a historical infantry tactical formation that first appeared during the Italian Wars of the late 15th and early 16th centuries, and was used until the development of the bayonet in the late 17th century. This type of formation combined soldiers armed with pikes and soldiers armed with arquebuses and/or muskets.
The English Civil War (1642-1651) was a series of civil wars and political machinations between Parliamentarians ("Roundheads") and Royalists ("Cavaliers"), mainly over the manner of England's governance and issues of religious freedom. The war ended with Parliamentarian victory at the Battle of Worcester on 3 September 1651.

Reviews
Very very good quality as always, never fails to deliver quality. Delivery quite slow as always, but a location matter, not a UB one. Definitely will buy again.
Beautiful detailed printing on this minifigure. Highly recommended.
영국 내전 당시 장교라니!
버프코트도 레이피어도 잘 고증되어있습니다!
This minifig keeps selling out on UB’s website, but they keep restocking it, and that says a lot about how popular it is. I had been meaning to buy a copy for a while, and now I finally have it in hand, let me say that it does not disappoint. The design seems to be a hodgepodge of different French-inspired outfits from the 🏴 Civil War, and the faceprint is one of my favourites ever by UB.
Great little model
